A: We’d say it’s our personal, flexible, and stylish approach to hospitality. This historical ranch was originally built in 1906, and was thoughtfully converted into a 9-room Inn with a main farmhouse and adjacent carriage house. All of our rooms are recently refreshed or fully renovated, private-use spaces with bathrooms.
The common use areas (both inside and outside on the grounds) are modern, playful spaces stocked with useful and fun guest amenities. We have enterprise-grade WiFi available throughout the 3 acres, smart TVs and device charging stations in each guest room, and a text-based check in and communication system for guests to use during their stay for real-time, prompt service.
We also go beyond the usual local recommendations for guests—we’re enthusiastic about helping you create a personalized, curated list of things to experience in West Sonoma County.
At Mine + Farm, everyone’s experience is uniquely their own.
A: A play on words, Mine + Farm is the unearthing and growth of ideas and objects:
- Mine – a wellspring; a place to discover inspiration and new ideas
- Farm – to cultivate; a place to grow one’s well being through collaboration; internal thought and shared experience
Mine + Farm began as a maker studio in San Francisco that created and curated goods for the home. With the addition of the Inn in 2020, we broadened the brand to include hospitality. Today, Mine + Farm is a home and hospitality brand that offers lodging and home goods for resale.
A: While kids are not specifically barred, the experience and amenities we offer cater to an exceptional adult travel stay.
A: Our beloved daily served breakfast is organic, locally-sourced, and street-food inspired. You can expect options of fresh juices and smoothies, housemade yogurt parfaits, and hand-held egg sandwiches. Any dietary restrictions (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut allergies) can be accommodated with 48 hours notice. For early risers, we can put together a modified ‘to-go’ breakfast with 24 hours notice.
A: Check-in hours are between 3:30 PM and 7:00 PM. For later arrivals, we will provide you with self check-in details via text. We are not able to offer earlier check-ins at this time, and recommend either a light hike at Armstrong Woods, a bite to eat at Korbel Deli, or a stroll in the town of Guerneville if you plan to be in the area prior to 3:30 pm. Check-out time is 11:00 AM.
A: Because we are an intimate, hospitality-focused Inn, last-minute cancellations greatly affect our ability to provide excellent guest services and we stand by our cancellation policy.
You have until 14 days prior to your arrival to cancel or move your reservation. A $25 per room processing fee will apply.
Cancellations made at least 7 days but less than 14 days before check-in, 50% of your reservation will be charged. If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival date, regardless of the circumstances, your reservation will be charged in full and fully non-refundable.
Reducing the length of stay, or an early departure within 7 days of your arrival, is considered a cancellation. As mentioned, cancellations affect us significantly; therefore we must hold firmly to the above stated policy. (This does not apply to Group Buyouts and Events, which adhere to a different policy.)
How to notify us of a cancellation request:
- To avoid errors and for your protection, any notice for modifications or cancellations must be delivered to Mine + Farm via email during regular business hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST); if received outside of business hours, the notice will be considered received the next business day.
- We highly recommend replying to your confirmation email to confirm receipt; our systems are the only official record of receipt, and we cannot be responsible for server/filter errors.
A: Guest rooms are thoroughly deep cleaned after each check-out with environmentally-safe disinfectant cleaning products. We offer room refreshes for guests staying 3+ nights. Extra towels, linens, etc can be requested throughout your stay. Public areas are cleaned daily, with high-touch surface cleaning several times per day. We include a $15 housekeeping gratuity for all stays.
A: It’s easy and flexible! We use a text-based hospitality system that you can use during your stay—a staff member will respond in a timely manner to any requests or questions. You will also see staff around on-site—we’re always happy to chat in person as well.
A: Our sustainability practices encourage conscious consumption and leaving minimal impact on the environment.

We ask that your dog is at least 18 months old, well-trained, and on-leash when outside your room. They must also accompany you when you are out and cannot be left alone in the rooms — we are happy to recommend dog-friendly activities for you.
We do not currently accommodate other types of pets.
